About us
Old-school direct response.
New-school digital.
One team.
Phoenix Growth Collective was built by pairing 30 years of media marketing that had to pay for itself with 15 years of modern brand and digital growth — then surrounding that with the specialists who actually make things happen.
Our story
Two eras of marketing. One formidable company.
Most agencies come from one world or the other. Phoenix was founded by two people who came from opposite ends of the marketing timeline — and realized each had exactly what the other was missing.
The old school
Media that had to pay for itself
Michael spent the 1990s and 2000s running direct-response advertising agencies — television, radio, and print for brands like LifeLock, Hooked on Phonics, and Sports Illustrated. In that world there was nowhere to hide. Every spot, every mailer, every dollar was tracked to a phone call or a sale, and a campaign either paid for itself or got pulled. That discipline — offer, message, measurement, accountability — is the backbone of everything Phoenix does.
The new school
Brands built for how people buy today
Meg built her career on the other side of the shift — branding, web, digital customer acquisition, and CMO-level strategy for startups, service businesses, and Fortune 500-affiliated organizations. She understands how a modern buyer actually finds, vets, and chooses a business: search, social, reviews, and now AI answers. Her instinct for brand, design, and systems is what turns a direct-response engine into something people trust.
Put them together
You get an agency that thinks like a direct-response media buyer and builds like a modern brand studio. Strategy, web, SEO, AI GEO, content, video, and paid media run as one accountable system — measured against leads and revenue, not vanity metrics. Old-school accountability. New-school reach. That’s the whole idea.
Who you work with
Meet the founders
Direct response · Media · Strategy
Michael Ardner
Co-Founder · Phoenix Growth Collective
Michael is the old-school half of Phoenix. He started in direct sales, then founded and ran direct-response advertising agencies from 1995 to 2007 — television, radio, print, and high-converting campaigns for clients including LifeLock, Hooked on Phonics, Sports Illustrated, Banjo Fishing Lure, and Invention Submission Corporation.
Since 2008 he has built and scaled companies across real estate development, construction, wellness, and hospitality — so he reads a client’s business like an owner, not a vendor. At Phoenix he owns strategy, offers, and the question every campaign has to answer: did it make money?

Meg Thompson
Co-Founder · Founder, Solseed Marketing Group
Meg is the new-school half. Founder of Solseed Marketing Group, she brings 15+ years in marketing strategy, branding, web design, and business development — including executive and CMO roles focused on customer acquisition, brand growth, and long-term strategy.
She has worked with startups, wellness brands, service businesses, real estate and development projects, contractors, legal firms, automotive companies, and Fortune 500-affiliated organizations. At Phoenix she owns brand, digital experience, and operational systems — making sure what we build is something customers want to choose, not just something that ranks.
The team
The people who make it happen
Two founders set the strategy. A deep bench of specialists executes it — video, media buying, and web development, all in-house and all pointed at the same goal.
Erwin Myer
Producer / Director
Video, film, and broadcast. Erwin turns a strategy into something people actually watch — brand films, ads, social video, and broadcast-grade production that makes a local business look like the category leader.
Christin Higgins
Media Buying
Christin runs paid media the way it was meant to be run — negotiated hard, placed deliberately, and measured against cost per lead. Across digital, broadcast, and traditional, she makes every media dollar work.
Web Development
Zihid & Kashe · Web Developers
Zihid and Kashe design and build the sites, landing pages, and web apps everything else runs through — fast, SEO- and AI-GEO-ready from day one, and built to convert rather than just look good.
Strategy, brand, video, media, and code — under one roof, one plan, and one number that matters. That is what makes Phoenix a well-rounded team instead of a collection of freelancers.
